Anja Van Roy

Anja is Lasso’s general coordinator and has been active in the cultural sector for many years. She has developed in-depth knowledge of the arts landscape, the heritage sector, and the socio-cultural field.

During her History studies, she developed a lasting love for art and culture. After graduating, she started at Kaaitheater, where she worked closely with artists in the communications department and got to know the Brussels cultural scene up close. A few years later, she moved to Danspunt, an amateur arts organization, where, as deputy director, she focused on developing a strategic vision. In 2006, she started at the Brussels Arts Network as coordinator of the newly established educational network, later called Lasso.
